Behind every story is a journey —
and it’s my honour to walk alongside you as you navigate yours.
Hola!
Welcome to Elowen Therapy.
I’m Ester, a tertiary-qualified Counsellor specialising in Perinatal Mental Health.
Becoming a parent can be one of life’s most profound and beautiful transformations — but for many, the path to parenthood is also lined with heartache, uncertainty, and moments that feel unbearably heavy.
My own journey through endometriosis and infertility was deeply isolating. I remember how invisible my pain felt, how the world seemed to move on while I stood still — holding grief, hope, and longing all at once. It was in those quiet, vulnerable moments that I realised how few spaces existed where people could bring their whole story and feel truly seen.
That realisation is what led me to become a counsellor — to create the kind of support I once needed but couldn’t find.
So, what’s the meaning behind Elowen? “Elowen” means elm tree — a symbol of strength, grounding, and renewal.
Just like the elm, my practice is rooted in safety and care. Its branches reflect the support and hope I strive to offer as you navigate life’s tender seasons — whether you are:
walking the lonely path of infertility,
adjusting to the emotional shifts of new parenthood, or
healing from birth trauma or the grief of losing a baby or child.
Here, your story is honoured, your feelings are welcome, and you are never alone in your healing.
